EC Essays Wordle

It seems like I’ve been writing a lot this year, and I’m curious to go back and see what my output was like as an undergrad. I don’t know if I’m actually writing more now or if it just feels like it. I’m definitely writing fewer but longer papers, but I’m not sure about totals.

Since September, I’ve written and turned in about 57 pages, or 18,239 words, in five essays. Plugged it all into Wordle (which is awesome) and produced the above.

I saw The Incredible Hulk, which was a spectacle, and was most excited to see Omar Little appear briefly on screen, saying nothing, just standing there and watching the spectacle.

(Google turned this up.)

So it’s been a while. The summer passed quickly, blogger ate some of my posts (which I later recovered and reposted), I stopped posting while I investigated moving to another host, I never really did, and now I’ve accumulated quite a pile of skipped blog-assignments. I’ll give it another try.

I left Sardis, as I discussed earlier. Since I’m not Up On Choctaw Ridge anymore, the blog needs a new name. I’m in Jackson now.

More to come soon.

The response from Blogger Support:

Hi Robert,

Thanks for notifying us of this issue. We had a number of unplanned outages in early February, resulting in various problems in Blogger and BlogSpot, including a number of cases in which posts would be lost when users republished their blogs. The full details were posted on our status page (http://status.blogger.com) at that time, though things should be working normally now. We apologize for the problems this has caused, but please be assured that we are actively working on preventing this from happening again, and on improving the reliability of Blogger and BlogSpot. Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,
Blogger Support

Thanks to Hayden for digging up the cached copies on Bloglines.
